Gospel artiste Weezdom has refuted allegations he is the one that leaked Mr. Seed’s cheating scandals to the press.

Weezdom says he received information that Mr. Seed and his wife are accusing him of tarnishing his name.

Weezdom has accused Mr. Seed of using people’s names to trend and seek online sympathy.

“Today i am one of the saddest people but i chose to relax because the anger of a man does not produce the righteousness of god (james 1:20). Sasa leo nimekua napigiwa simu na wasee na blogs ati Mr. Seed na mke wake wanasema nalipwa niwaharibie jina and that’s why i chose to come out with the truth juu enyewe huyu msee amezoea ku trend na watu aki tafta sympathy but mimi i feel that i’m still a growing artist for someone to tarnish my name at this level it’s unacceptable. So let me share with you the real truth.” he said

He further narrated how he called Mr. Seed to tell him the lady was going to expose him and instead Mr. Seed twisted it to say he is the one that exposed him.

“I sent you chats cursing out that chic because of you and I called you to tell you this lady is going to expose you. And you are here saying i’m the one who leaked it. If i hate you bro, I would have leaked it the first day that chic called me. God cut off my head i die if i talked to any blogger.” He added

The unidentified lady accused Mr. Seed of forcing her into having sex after she approached him to help her venture into film making.

The United Nations High Commission for Refugees (UNHCR) named Kenyan gospel singer, Mercy Masika as its national Goodwill Ambassador for Kenya.

The singer has served as UNHCR’s High Profile Supporter, championing its LuQuLuQu campaign to change the narrative of the African refugee.

“Through my involvement with the LuQuLuQu campaign, I have had the opportunity to meet with people who have been forced to flee and who, despite having lost everything, show unwavering resilience to overcome their circumstances to rebuild their lives, Refugees are just like you and me – they could in fact be any of us. I believe as an African community we have a responsibility to invoke the spirit of Ubuntu – that we carry each other’s burdens by showing our warm heartedness in the face of a refugee’s struggle,” she said

Since her involvement with the LuQuLuQu campaign, Masika has advocated for and supported UNHCR’s work in protecting people forced to flee. This has included supporting public engagement and fundraising campaigns such as the launch of the LuQuLuQu campaign in Kenya, the Step for Safety public charity walks held across Africa, and performing at the first ever TEDx event held in a refugee camp, the TEDxKakumaCamp.

Masika also represented UNHCR internationally at the National Prayer Breakfast in the Washington, D.C., which was attended by the United States President and other high level government officials.

Masika takes on her role as a Goodwill Ambassador during a time when the world faces unprecedented forced displacement.

“When I visited Kakuma refugee camp, I had the opportunity to spend time with the refugee families living there. I am inspired by the strength of the refugee women, many of whom have undergone traumatic ordeals. One woman shared with me her personal story of escaping violence in her village to find safety in Kenya. It is listening to these experiences that motivate me to advocate for their wellbeing,” Masika added.

Raouf Mazou, UNHCR Africa Bureau Director, welcomed Masika’s appointment saying she is the best to fill the gap.

“I am very pleased to welcome Mercy Masika to the UNHCR family. I have witnessed first-hand her steadfast support for UNHCR’s work in Kenya and have look forward to her continuous positive contributions in her new role as a Goodwill Ambassador.” he said

Responding to her appointment, Masika said: “It is a great honor and joy to be given this appointment. I intend to utilize my role as a UNHCR Goodwill Ambassador by relying on my faith as a child of God and my commitment to support people forced to flee.” she said

Baby Wairimu Back Home After Successful Surgery In India

Baby Haimana Wairimu on Tuesday jetted back home amid funfair after successful surgery in Bengalu, India.

She had her thyroid removed after she was diagnosed with thyroid cancer.

The 8-year-old has been on oxygen support for two years.

She was flown to India after Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko heard her moving story.

He paid for her treatment in India through his Sonko Rescue Team.

Indian surgeons said she is now out of danger after an Indian doctor in Kenya, whose second opinion was sought, said she had six months to live because her lungs were collapsing at a fast rate.

She was flown to India on May 2.

Her mother Miswaleh Mlalanze was overwhelmed with emotions upon touchdown at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport on Tuesday evening.

She couldn’t control her tears as she thanked Sonko.

“God used Sonko’s big heart to help us. I have no words to say how grateful I am. Only God can repay you, Governor,” she said.

Wairimu’s father Martin Kamau, who was also at the JKIA to receive their baby, said the family will continue praying for Governor Sonko to continue with his good deeds by helping the needy members of the society.

“We were stuck for close to two years with no one to help us. We cannot thank the Governor enough for helping us. God is great. We will now wait for the baby to recover as we continue to pray,” he said.

Wairimu can now smile again after the successful four-hour surgery.

Doctors in Kenya had twice misdiagnosed Wairimu, treating her for tuberculosis and pneumonia, while her thyroid glands were being eaten by cancer.

A second opinion from an Indian doctor found that Wairimu had thyroid cancer which was in stage two and spreading quickly.

The operation was supposed to take two hours but it lasted four because according to the Indian surgeons, the radio iodine medication given to her in Kenya affected her thyroids, which had to be dealt with first before being removed.

Wairimu has no thyroids now.

Thyroids are important for the development of bones because they produce calcium.

Sonko said he is grateful to God for the many successful similar cases the SRT has so far aided.

In his welcoming message to baby Haimana, the Governor pledged support the needy in the society.

“We shall continue to offer these kind of services to the needy families but most importantly we shall ensure in future these kind of surgeries are performed in our local hospitals in the county and Kenya in general,” he said.

Churchill show comedian Oliver Otieno aka YY, has for the first time opened up about suffering depression after losing his unborn baby.

YY said four years ago he faced the tough decision of choosing between the mother or the baby after she developed some serious complications.

“I had a lot of expectations and I was so excited but the excitement was cut short in a manner I did not expect. We went to the labour ward but the doctors recommended she has a Caesarian section. I went to book  but they said the theater was full.”  he said

YY says he still questions what happened but has taken it as a lesson even though the wound still hurts to date.

“Sometimes we question what happens but it may be a blessing or even could be a lesson that God wants us to learn from those particular situations. I took it as a lesson and although I endured the pain for a while, it made me a better person and I am now able to accept things as they come.” he added.

This comes just days after he celebrated himself on social media saying his late daughter would be four years old now.

“Happy Father’s Day To Me…my late daughter would be four years old today but everything happens for a Reason.” he posted on father’s day
