The opposition has announced their planned countrywide demos against the decision by the government to pay Sh125 billion to companies related to Anglo-Leasing projects.
Cord leaders on Friday stated that they would use all avenues available to register their displeasure including public demonstration.
CORD leaderMr Kalonzo Musyoka, said the country may face a rocketing inflation should the payments be made.
On his part the co-principal Moses Wetangula said the Sh125 billion should be channelled towards funding the counties to help strenghthen devolution.
CORD MP Ababu Namwamba questioned the government’s motive to pay for contracts that the previous administration disowned in 2004 while president Uhuru Kenyatta was in charge of the finance docket.
The leaders were speaking during the burial of former Bomachoge Borabu constituency MP Zephaniah Anyieni in kisii county.
