Kenyans are being warned from consuming suspicious or unrecognised brands of liqour.
According to National Agency for the Campaign Against Drug Abuse (NACADA) chairman John Mututho, all licences for manufacturing of liquors remain cancelled untill next week when they will announce the brands that have been certified.
He says so far 20 manufacturers have submitted their samples and is urging the remaining companies to comply.
Mututho has also raised the red flag over suspicious illegal brew being smuggled from Tanzania, saying the Kenya Revenue Authority should investigate customs officers operating at the Kenya/ Tanzania border.
