Attemps by Nairobi Governor Doctor Evans Kidero to address the Cord rally held at the Uhuru park grounds on Saturday failed after the crowd registering their displeasure this is even after leaders present appealed for calm.
The CORD Leader Raila Odinga returned to the country today afternoon after a three-month absence to US.
Raila was welcomed back by party members at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, and later headed to Uhuru Park for the much awaited welome-back rally.
while addressing the multitude at Uhuru Park Mr.Odinga said that security and country’s economy must be restored to levels that ensures that basiccommodities remains affordable to the common mwananchi.
On electoral matters, the leaders present seemed to be reading from the same script by insisting that the IEBC be disbanded for a new Commission to be formed.
The CORD principle Kalonzo Musyoka called on the Jubilee government to attend a national dialogue on 7th July this year to deliberate on issues ailing the country.
The opposition party has vowed to keep the government on toes to ensure it delivers its pledges to Kenyans.
