Gor Mahia will be boosted ahead of the much awaited derby against rivals Afc leopards with the return of dependable forward Dan Sserunkuma who failed trials at Danish Division One side HB Koge.
The Danish club through its official site has already confirmed eleven summer acquisitions with the Uganda cranes attacker missing in the list.
During the three trial matches, Sserunkuma came on as a substitute against BSG Chemie Leipzig, FC Bitterfieldon and Chemnitzer FC, but failed to get his name on the score sheet.
The Danish side beat BSG Chemie Leipzig 3-0, hammered FC Bitterfieldon 8-0 and fell 3-0 to Chemnitzer FC on Friday.
The former Victors striker has also been invited by Cranes coach Micho for the upcoming Afcon pre-qualifier return leg in Mauritania.
The Ugandan has scored 39 in 84 competitive matches for current employers, Kenyan Premier League defending champions Gor Mahia since joining from Nairobi City stars in June 2012.
He returns to Nairobi tomorrow and will be available for the mashemeji derby that pits Gor with arch rivals AFC Leopards this coming Sunday.
Gormahia currently are leading the table with 37 points, just three away from hard pressing Tusker FC.
A troubled Afc Leopards will be seeking to redeem themselves and get off the relegation zone by trying to win only their second match after four straight loses had condemned them to a miserable last bottom three.
