The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission has cancelled the Gatundu by-election scheduled for Thursday.
The commission has canceled the election after TNA’s Moses Kuria’s sole challenger Kiarie Kamere withdrew from the elections.
IEBC is now expected to declare Kiarie the MP for Gatundu Sound.
The decision was reached today after IEBC held a long day meeting to decide the way forward with the Gatundu situation.
