KCB ON COURSE FOR THE SAFARICOM 7S SERIES TITLE

Kenya Commercial Bank clinched the Prinsloo Sevens Championship held at the Nakuru Club on August 31st beating the host Top Fry Nakuru RFC 26-10 .

Having won three circuits of the competition , the bankers have virtually won this year’s edition with one leg to spare.
The Series comes to a climax this weekend at Ngong Road where Kenya Harlequin FC hosts the 50th Christie Sevens.
They  lead the Series with 85 points need only 10 more points to cement their overall title claim.

In the semis, KCB stopped Mamba 22-0 before Nakuru defeated Western Bulls 20-0. Mwamba emerged the play-offs winners after they smashed Western Bulls 33-5.Harlequins dismissed Kara’s Sugar 19-12 to scoop the Plate title.

In the semis, Harlequins dismissed Homboyz 22-12 while Kara’s walloped Strathmore Leos 17-12.

Impala won the Bowl finals after they thrashed Nondescripts 29-7 in a one-sided match. En route to the finals, Impala beat Kisumu RFC 37-7 while Nondescripts clobbered Catholic Monks 22-7.

Masaku RFC won the Shield title with a 12-0 win over Mombasa RFC after earlier eliminating KCA by the same margin in the semis.

In the Division Two championships, Mean Machine won the Main Cup finals after whipping JKUAT 12-7.
