The government has been urged to deal with the drug barons in the country to help reduce cases of drug abuse and crime in the country.
Gichinja Mwangi of Githurai area says many crimes in the country are committed by young people who are under the influence of drugs.
Mwangi says these drug addicts most of whom are unemployed have perfected the art of stealing phones which they in turn sell and use the money to buy drugs.
Gachinja in the meantime has called on the area residents to desist from protests in a bid to push for the release of the slain officer who is accused of killing two brothers further calling on the police to follow the laid down laws while dealing with suspects.
