The third edition of Mr. and Miss Embakasi is targeting sportsmen and women as a way of promoting fitness as a sport while incorporating the art of culture, fashion and design, Collins Omondi announced in Nairobi, Sunday.
The former Kenyan body building chairman aspirant now the event organizer said, “we need our sports men and women to get involved in such competitions because it also brings out the creativity in them in terms of design and wears,” Omondi said and added that through the event, most sportsmen and women might realize their other talents in art.
The event also aims at promoting healthy living through diet, wellness and fitness to not only sportsmen and women but also to the general public.
“We need to eat healthy and keep fit, especially the city dwellers. Most of us in Embakasi live a very poor lifestyle where we eat junk food and not exercising our bodies.
