Nairobi residents have made a shocking discovery this afternoon when they found bodies of newly born triplets dumped in a tunnel in Nairobi’s Pangani area.
Ngugi Mwaura says the triplets were carefully wrapped in a black polythene bag and placed inside the tunnel by an unknown person.
Speaking to Ghetto Radio News Mwaura says he made the discovery at around 2 PM in the afternoon while driving inside the tunnel.
“I was driving when i saw a polythene bag inside the tunnel, after a careful look that’s when i discovered that there were three babies inside the bag,” said Mwaura.
“Crowds of people then thronged the place upon the discovery with everyone wanting to have a look at the babies,” he added.
The discovery created a traffic snurl up in the area as residents thronged the scene to catch a glimpse of the dumped babies. Mwaura urged ladies to shun the bad habit and use protection if they were not ready for parenthood.
“We have condoms, we have family planning pills. Why can’t our ladies use these before subjecting innocent babies to such distress?” he asked.
Police were later called to the scene and took the babies.
