Faithfuls in Kariobangi South were treated to drama on Sunday morning after a woman stormed into a church accusing the pastor of dumping her for another woman.
The service was interrupted as the woman attacked her husband calling her names and throwing stones at him and the faithfuls.
This forced a section of the church members to run out screaming and praying aloud while the rest closed the doors shielding media people from filming the church.
The pastor immediately ran into hiding to save his face from the shame.
The woman alleges she once caught her husband cheating on her with another woman at their house.
According to the woman, the pastor then went ahead and bribed a Bishop of another church who gave him a second marriage certificate with the other woman.
“I do not want to name the Bishop because i respct him, he gave him 30,000 shillings and then the Bishop prepared the marriage certificate with that woman,” she alleged.
The police were forced to come to restore calm in place. faithful came to the pastor’s rescue until police stepped in to restore order.Our reporter Gatete Njoroge has filed that story.
