Residents of Kiambu County in Riabai village woke up to a rude shock when they discovered the body of a woman who had been killed and her body cut into pieces.
Elizabeth Nyokabi is alleged to have been murdered on Monday, her body put in a sack and dumped in a building under construction.
According to The Standard the deceased’s sister said the farmhand left the home on Monday and has since not returned.
“The house was locked so we had to ask a boy to get in through a window and open the door. We found her body in pieces in a sack,: said Ms Wangonyo.
Kiambu police officers who visited the scene said investigations had started.
The farmhand has since been arrested in connection with the murder.
