President Uhuru Kenyatta has awarded KPL Champions Gormahia players with Ksh. 2 million following their clinch of the Kenya Premier League title.
Uhuru who was paid a courtesy visit by the Kogalo Champions was also given a Gor Mahia Jersey labeled Kenyatta 01 by the KPL Champions.
The Statehouse visit also saw the president appoint Kogalo fan Jaro Soja the Kasarani Stadium manager.
Gor Mahia retained the the KPL Cup for a record 14th time.
