Residents of Tasia Embakasi area have raised concern over the continued poor state of roads in the area.

They claim that their efforts to reach Member of their County Assembly Michael Ogada to adress the situation have proved futile

Patrick Thuita a Tasia resident told Ghetto Radio News that  Ogada had promised to address the matter four  months ago but so far nothing has been done.

He says the roads are impassable and that has adversely affected businesses in a major ways further threatening that they will not pay the weekly City council charges until action is taken.

“Ukiangalia barabara venye iko, biashara huku hakuna, lakini ukikaa wakati kama Wednesday unaona kanjo inakuja ati kuwalipisha” (” if you look at how dilapidated this road is, business is almost impossible yet city council is always here every Wednesday to collect their weekly fee”) said Thuita.

Thuita added that the potholes and mud on the road has caused sewer lines to block adding that if action is not taken in a week’s time they will block the road in protest.
