The ODM party is expected to hold its party nomination exercise today to choose a candidate who will run for the HomaBay senatorial seat.
The exercise will be carried out using the delegates system with 406 delegates set to participate.
Candidates that had already expressed their interests in the seat are Silas Jakakimba Moses Kajwang’, Caroli Omondi, , Philip Okundi Hilary Alila, and Fred Rabong’o.
This exercise comes ahead of the by elections scheduled for February 2, next year.
The Homa Bay senatorial seat fell vacant following death of Otieno Kajwang last month.
