More than 15 Non governmental Organisations in the country have been implicated in the financing of terrorism in the country.
NGO Coordination Board Executive Director Fazul Mohamed says Some of the organisations are behind the 1998 terror attack in the country.
Mohammed says they have identified the source of the money and the NGOs involved in financing terror activities in the country and the region.
He says donors will now be required to inform the government the amount of money they give NGOs and the activities they are funding.
Mohamed said they had also de-registered 510 other NGOs that have not delivered their audited accounts.
