A Migori MCA started his 15 year jail sentence at the Migori Prison last Friday for defiling girl aged 13.
Ntimaru East Ward representative Lukas Hura committed the offence on May 11 last year at Ntimaru town Kuria East.
The case was moved from the Kehancha law courts to Rongo more than 100km away as the there were fears that residents could riot.
The court heard that he dragged the standard Six pupil into Sadam Bar and restaurant at 7pm where police acting on a tip-off found them.
