After Jaguar did the remix to his track ‘One Centimeter’ with Nigerian superstar Iyanya, you would think that the two would be the best of friends right now but guess what, that never happened.
During his acceptance speech at the BMA awards last Saturday for best video of the year, Jaguar revealed his frustration of working with Iyanya. Apparently the Nigerian superstar did not want to shoot the “One Centimeter’ video unless it was directed by Clarence Peter or Moe Musa from Nigeria.
Jaguar refused to give in to his demands and Iyanya eventually caved in and did the video with Jaguar using the director that Jaguar preferred. When it came to the releasing the video, Jaguar decided to send the video to Iyanya so that he could have it released on the same day as here in Kenya.
Problem is Nigerians don’t play outside music but yet they want to dominate Africa. They do so by doing collabos with the rest of African artists so that their name is big in other African countries apart from their own.
As soon as Jaguar realized this he cut all ties with Iyanya and has never picked up his calls since.
