The Nakuru High Court has given TSC CEO Gabriel Lengoiboni a 30 days ultimatum to pay retired teachers or be jailed.
Lady Justice Janet Mulwa extended the suspension of Lengoiboni’s committal to civil jail over the money which is part of 42.2 billion shillings pension and salary areas that over 52, 000 retired teachers of 1997 are claiming.
This was after the retired teachers’ Lawyer Dominic Kimata reported to the court that no money has been released to the pensioners despite the AG’s statement that the pension amounting to 16.7 billion shillings has been released.
