Mathare MP Steven Kariuki has been named has one of the 13 MPs who have never contributed to to any debates in the 122 sittings of the second session of the house that ended in 2014.
An anlysis conducted by Mzalendo.com shows that 10 of theMPs were male while three were female.
Among those named as silent MPs are Abdulahi Benticha of Isiolo South, Alex Kosgey of Emgwen, Benjamin Andayi of Khwisero, Benson Mbayi of Masinga, Charles Gimose of Hamisi, Lemanken Aramat of Narok East, Maweu Katatha on Kangundo, Steven Kariuki of Mathare and Sammy Koech of Konoin.
Suba MP John Mbadi was named as the most active contributor of the debate. Nominated MP Amina Abdalla was the leading woman legislator for the second year running.
