Central Open Table Tennis Championships takes place tomorrow at the Thika High School in Thika from 9AM to 4PM.
Players participating in the game are coming from Uganda, Tanzania, Ethiopia and local Kenyan players.
The amount of cash to be awarded to the winners of various events which includes; men’s singles, ladies singles, boys and girls junior under 16 years, totals up to a sum of Ksh. 250,000.
Winners will be awarded in cash and trophies as indicated; Men individual event winner- Ksh. 20,000, Runners up-Ksh. 10,000, Semi finalists – ksh.5, 000, Ladies Individual Event Winner – Ksh 20,000 Runners up – Ksh 10,000 Semi Finalists – Ksh 5,000.
Men Doubles Event Winners – Ksh 10,000 Runners up – Ksh 5,000 Semi Finalists – Ksh 2,500, Ladies Doubles Event Winners – Ksh 10,000 Runners up – Ksh 5,000 Semi Finalists – Ksh 2,500.
Junior Events Boys Individual Winner – Ksh 5,000/= Voucher Runners Up – Ksh 3,000/= Voucher, Semi Finalists – Ksh 2,000/= Voucher Girls Individual (Total Ksh 10,000).
Winner – Ksh 5,000/= Voucher Runners Up – Ksh 3,000/= Voucher Semi Finalists – Ksh 2,000/= Voucher Junior Doubles (Total Ksh 10,000).
Boys Winners – Ksh 5,000/= Voucher Runners Up – Ksh 3,000/= Voucher Semi Finalists – Ksh 2,000/= Voucher Girls Doubles (Total Ksh 10,000).
Winners – Ksh 5,000/= Voucher Runners Up – Ksh 3,000/= Voucher Semi Finalists – Ksh 2,000/= Voucher.
The tournament is being organized by the Kenya Table Tennis Association Central Branch.
