
Nairobi county government has advised Nairobi Residents to be vigilant and observe cleanliness following the Cholera outbreak in Mathare and Ruaraka.
This has come after Ghetto Radio raised an alarm over cholera outbreak in Mathare slums that killed two people.
Speaking to Ghetto Radio news, Nairobi county health officer Julia Airo says the county is aware of the outbreak and has formed a Rapid response team to contain the spread.
She is advising the residents to avoid eating food without washing their hands after visiting the toilet.
One person died five weeks ago from Cholera while 3 people who had symptoms of the disease were taken to Kiambu hospital three weeks ago.
