Business in Kware market Ongata Rongai was today interrupted after a section of hawkers took to the streets to protest the new 2000 shilling levy being imposed on them by the county government.
The traders are accussing the Kajiado county government for pushing the levy without consulting or engaging them in the process.
They maintain that they will not pay the levy untill the county government engages all people involved.
However no casualties have been reported so far.
