
The Law Society of Kenya wants the newly appointed Inspector General of Police Mr. Joshua Boinnet to update it on the disappearance of a lawyer attached to State House, Nairobi.
The LSK CEO Apollo Mboya says the government has enough resources to intiate investigations on the disappearance of Mr. Albert Muriuki whose disappearance was reported more than a year ago.
“The Government has the resources and ability to investigate the matter taking into account that Mr. Muriuki was a senior official within State House,” Mr. Mboya said.
According to Moya Muriuki was last seen at Pension Towers along Loita Street in December 2013. disappeared in January last year.
“We (LSK) request you to inform us of the status of investigations to enable us report to the membership during our Annual General Meeting on March 21, 2014,” Mr. Mboya said.
