Uganda and the entire East Africa Dancehall scene woke up on Tuesday to the sad news of singer’s AK47’s demise after he allegedly collapsed in a bathroom at a club and died.
AK47, whose real names are Emmanuel Mayanja Hummertone was the youngest brother to Jose Chameleon, Weasal and Pallaso.
The 25 year old musician was laid to rest yesterday as police continue to unfold the misery that led to his death reporting that AK47 was beaten first before heading to the bathroom where he slipped and fell whilst trying to clean up at a bar popularly known as DEJAVU.
“We suspected foul play after realizing the body had bruises on the chest and we decided to close the bar as investigations take shape,” said Nusulah Kemigisha the Police Criminal Investigations Boss of Kabalagala.
However, controversial reports have emerged from a forensic pathologist Dr. Moses Byaruhanga who rules out that AK47 died as a result of accidental drug overdose.
