President Uhuru Kenyatta will on Monday begin a two day visit to the Rift Valley against a backdrop of resistance by youthful first time Mps.
Mps who spoke on Saturday led by Nandi hills Mp Alfred Keter called on President Uhuru Kenyatta to first sack all those people serving in government who set up Deputy President William Ruto at the ICC
Keter also cautioned against the political visit saying the meetings should be used to launch development projects in the area saying the time of politics was over.
President Kenyatta is expected to visit Eldoret, Bomet and Kericho to thank residents for voting for him in what is seen as an attempt to calm the rising discontent against his government in the Rift Valley
