2015 Sportpesa Super 8 Soccer Tournament Officially Kicks Off

Melta Kabiria and Red Star FC shared spoils in an entertaining match that kicked off this year’s edition.
Melta showed intent from the onset and opened the scores in the third minute, Victor Wanga beating Red Stars custodian Ignasius Otieno with a hard shot from the edge of the box.

Mutuini Rangers registered a narrow 2-1 win over Young Tremors in an afternoon match played at the Riruta Stadium.
After an eventful first half, Timothy Were opened the scores for Young Tremors in the 52nd minute with a fine volley that caught Mutuini Rangers goalkeeper Isaac Githeru unaware.
John Chege equalized for Rangers in the 66th minute with a wonderful freekick from the edge of the box and Gatirima Kelvin scored the winner with a low shot in the 86th minute.

Amani Yassets thrashed Mainstream Sports Academy 3-0 in the last match of the day.
Brian Amalo opened the scores in the 7th minute, Ouma added the second In the 24th minute while Geoffrey Erambo scored the final goal in the 35th minute.
