The prosecution asked the court to cancel bail issued to Imenti Central MP Gideon Mwiti today for allegedly interfering with investigations in a rape case against him.
The prosecution told the court that Mwiti has also been intimidating witnesses set to testify in the case.
The legislator who was released on a Sh100,000 bond is facing three charges of raping, intimidating and assaulting a woman in his Nairobi office.
Mwiti and his co accused, Dr David Muchiri, were in court today where they were charged afresh.
