Property worth over 100 million shillings last night went up in flames in a fire incident that burnt down part of Gikomba market.
The fire which took fire fighters more than 12 hours to put off razed down the godown of mitumba clothings situated at Royal area in Gikomba market and part of residential houses.
According to the traders the fire fighters from Nairobi City County only arrived at the scene almost ten hours after the fire started with inadequate fire fighting machines.
