Police have been ordered to arrest any motorbike rider carrying two people in Nairobi county.
According to Nairobi county commander Benson Kibue the order will be implemented by police and county government.
This is part of efforts to address increasing cases of thugs riding on motorbikes in the city.
This comes after a meeting of Top police officers in Nairobi yesterday that a agreed to ban riding of more that two people on motorbikes.
Kibue added that they also discussed strategies to employ to address terror threats in the city with increased police patrols as part of efforts to address the fears.
