Nairobi roads were last night hit by floods after a heavy downpor which lasted almost seven hours rocked the city.
The flooded roads caused traffic snarl ups in Nairobi after sections of major roads were rendered iniaccessible by the downpour.
Many motorists were forced to close business early following the hardtimes they were experiencing in operating on the roads.
“These floods will do my car more harm than good. Because the money i will make from it will not be able to pay for the damages it might incur if i continue operating,” said one matatu operator.
The rains stopped at around 11PM.
