West pokot Governor Simon Kachapin is now blaming the security officers in charge of his county and the Turkana county for not taking their work seriously.
Kachapin says most of the officers take too long to respond to insecurity alarms even when information has been relayed to them in time.
He added that this has in turn led to loss of life in Turkana and Baringo counties.
Meanwhile the dissarmament operations by the government is still underway a move that is geared to restore security that is curently at stake in the region.
