At least six people were injured when a cargo train derailed and crushed houses in Nairobi’s Kibera slums on Sunday morning.
The train which destined for Uganda railed over structures raising fear that more people could be trapped inside.
The train is said to have been carrying about 1000 tones of wheat which were being transported to Kampala.
The injured were rushed to Kenyatta National Hospital where some of them were admitted.
The incident occurred two months after yet another accident in which a passenger train ploughed into a bus in Umoja, killing 12.
