aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaThe Kenya Premier League Defending Champions K’Ogalo has officially confirmed that they have re-signed Ugandan striker Dan Sserunkuma who concluded his contract with Tanzanian soccer giants Simba FC recently.
The Ugandan striker Dan Sserunkuma will start to join the KPL Defending champions for the second leg of Kenyan Premier League.
Gor Mahia official Anima Ferrari confirmed to local news agency that the club will now be forced to drop one foreigner to accommodate Sserunkuma. “The coach will make up a decision on who to be dropped. You know very clearly that a club in Kenyan Premier League is entitled to five foreigners and with the arrival of Sserunkuma we have six.
“This will be done before the second leg starts. I am happy that Sserunkuma has decided to return home. We all love him having helped us to two league titles and his return will boost our quest for a third consecutive title.”
Sserenkuma, in his mid-20s, joined the KPL defending champions KOgalo in 2012 from Nairobi City Stars and helped Gor to clinch two Kenyan Premier League (KPL) titles, But since his stay at the Tanzanian club , the Ugandan has been up and down to settle in, thus failing maintain the soccer performance he showed while in Gor Mahia.
He is now back. Will he register his usual impressive performance? There are speculations that Sserenkuma declined an offer he was given by AFC leopards.
The Ugandan striker Sserenkuma also played for Nairobi City Stars, Express and Victors.
