Manchester United boss Louis van Gaal has indicated yet again that they are facing a big challenge of losing goalkeeper David De Gea to Spanish soccer giants Real Madrid.
De Gea got an injury during Sunday’s 1-1 draw with Arsenal at Old Trafford, which might be his last match in United and will be missing a match at Hull City next weekend.
Real Madrid has identified the 24-year-old Spain international as the the next goal keeper after the veteran keeper Iker Casillas.
Football pundits further reiterates that Vaan Gaal knows what he wants.
Phil Neville:”Van Gaal has achieved his aim for his first year at United by securing a top-four finish and a return to the Champions League. Because of that, it has been a good season for him. Now his next target is to win the title, and I don’t think United are far away from being champions again.”
The United manager insisted he would not be doing any more to convince De Gea, who has one more season left on his contract, to sign a new deal, explaining: “He knows everything that he has at Manchester United at this moment.
“I don’t have to say anything for the benefit of Manchester United because he can feel everything. The crowd has been unbelievable. You have seen that reaction here. It has been unbelievable, for the team and for him individually.
