Supadada Lydia burning it with Juacali
The Serious Request 2013 SUPADADA Edition officially came to a close on Tuesday evening with an outstanding stage performance by the three presenters and the King of Genge Juacali.
The close of the event also marked the end of the six day hunger strike by the three presenters Shii, Mary and Lydia who championed for the rights of women and girls in the society while in the house.
The jubilation of the three housemates could be seen from the fiery performance they did with renowned Kenyan artist Juacali.
“Am glad i did this, and hopefully we have reached out to many women out there who feel they are segregated in the society,” said Shii of GOTEANA.

Also present during the close was Nairobi Senator Mike Mbuvi Sonk who officially opened the house where the three presenters had been locked for six days without food.
The event which was also campaigning for the contribution of Sanitary pads saw a total of 16,000 sanitary pads donated by well wishers.
Senator Sonko contributed a total of 4,000 sanitary pads
