Preparations are underway in Nyeri County for tomorrow’s beatification of Sister Irene Nyaatha Stefani.
Security is tight in Gikondi as residents prepare for a night vigil ahead of the international event that is expected to attract more than 300,000 visitors.
Those who spoke to Ghetto Radio News about the beatification say that they think the beatification is a good thing in honour of Sr Irene Stefani beacuse she made a positive impact on many people’s lives.
After the beatification, the remains of Sister Irene Stefani will be moved to a special place prepared at St. Mary’s cathedral in Nyeri and here they will remain until the next step on the road to sainthood.
