A matatu conductor was yesterday knocked down by a moving bus at Maji mazuri stage in Mwiki.
The youthful conductor is said to have been repairing the matatu door at the stage when the incident happened.
Speaking to Ghetto Radio news Mwiki sacco bus driver Timothy Mwaniki who allegedly knoked tha man down denied knoking the man alleging the conductor slide from the matatu.
The residents also blamed the poor road network as being a factor to the accident.
Both vehicles were heading to Nairobi from Mwiki.
The body of the deceased was taken to the mortuary by the police.
