Tension is high along the Kiawarigi-Karatina road in Nyeri County area after residents discovered an abandoned metal box suspected to be a bomb.
Bomb experts who wer called to check out the box however confirmed that it was not a bomb.
Nyeri DCIO Julius Emase confirmed that the suspicious box contained fake notes and chemicals used for making the fake notes.
