Seven people are feared dead and more than 20 trapped in a rubble after a building still under construction collapsed in Kisumu yesterday.
The building that was on its third floor in the expansive Manyatta slums in the lakeside town
Kisumu County Governor Jack Ranguma and his deputy Ruth Odinga visited the scene moments after the collapse of the building.
Fredrick Okumu a construction worker who escaped uncasthed said the incident caught workers unawares.
