
The Trade Union Congress of Kenya TUC-KENYA has given the government a seven day ultimatum to revoke the gazzette notice issued on the new national health insurance funds failure to which the will strike.
Addressing the media today the Trade Union Congress of Kenya General Secretary Wilson Sossion accused the government for gazzetting the new NHIF rates without reaching an agreement with stake holders involved.
Besides Sossion blamed the salary and remuneration commission for violating the law saying the commission has no mandate in the constitution that allows them to do job evaluation exercise.
Meanwhile the union has further threaten to join the Okoa Kenya referendum push to have the commission disbanded.
