There was drama in Kayole when the area’s Senior chief accompanied by women conducted a raid on chang’aa dens.
The operation which started in the morning had more than 5000 liters of illicit brew drained into the river.
The angered women sought the company and protection of the reformed members of illegal gang known gaza as they conducted the raid.
The women claimed that their men have stopped satisfying them in bed due to high consumption of the illicit brew.
“We are doing this because we want our men back. They can barely perform in bed. How do they expect us to have babies if they continue like this?” the ladies posed.
Chief Alice Adhoka who led the raid stated that time for illicit brew has ended.
“We are saying that anyone conducting the illicit brew business has got not space in Kayole. That business has to come to an end today,” she stated.
President Uhuru Kenyatta had on wednesday declared war against illicit brew starting with Central Province.
