Gatundu south MP Moses Kuria who was caught on tape asking youth in his constituents to slash anyone who opposes the projects of the National Youth Service Wednesday turned up with an apology to anyone offended by his hate remarks which are now subject of police investigations, and calls by the cohesion commission to have him prosecuted.
Addresing the press at parliament buildings, Kuria admitted that he made the statements 12 days ago in a moment of anger.
The MP shrugged off the public uproar over his remarks as a “storm in a tea cup”, and added that the context of his remarks was a call to arms for his youth to make sure that government projects in his constituency are not vandalized.
