Gor Mahia Get Boost From Moses Kuria

gor-mahia-fans-at-nyayo-stadium-on-sunday_oyhau9yo640d1uehwdvmtm0izThe ministry of Sports, Culture and Arts has donated 30 return air tickets for Kogalo to travel to Tanzania for the Cecafa Senior Challenge Cup.

The news came when the team held a fundraising to aid them honour the tournament at the Railways Ground.

Earlier last week the team had requested the Football Kenya Federation to help them pay their air ticket e
expense which the federation were unable to do saying they can only buy the National team air tickets for the Senior Challenge Cup and not Kagame Cup.

The fundraising that was organised at the Railway grounds raised Ksh 2.1 million. Among those who donated include controversial Gatundu South Member of Parliament Moses Kuria who gave Ksh 200,000.

Chief Guest Hon Sam Wakiaga contributed Kshs 200,000, HomaBay County governor Cyprian Awiti sent Kshs 100,000, CECAFA Secretary General Nicholas Musonye who gave Kshs 50,000 and FKF presidential candidate Nick Mwendwa who gave Kshs 200,000.

The Kenya Premeier league defending Champions are in Group A along side  Yanga ( Tanzania), Khartoum ( Sudan), Telecom ( Somali) and KMKM ( Zanzibar ).

Kogalo who are unbeaten in the league play their first match on Saturday 18th July against giants Yanga SC .
