Owner for Hope for Children Kenya located in Kayole Pamela Adhiambo is urging the government to support Children Homes countrywide that care for abandoned children.
Speaking to Ghetto radio news, the former chang’aa brewer who takes care of 34 children says though she receives children from government offices such as chief’s office, area police station and children’s office, she depends on donors and personal funds to support the children.
Adhiambo says during the last regime they received rice from the government but that ended once the Jubilee government took office.
She is now calling on well wishers to donate foodstuffs and help settle the rent arrears of their apartment located at Spring Valley in Kayole.
