United States President Barack Obama and President Uhuru Kenyatta finally opened the 6th annual Global Entrepreneurship Summit in United States Embassy at Gigiri where Obama promised a Sh100billion kitty to promote entrepreneurship in Africa.
Speaking Saturday at the summit , President Obama stated the KSh. 100billion in new commitments are from banks, foundations, philanthropists, and the US Government, with half of that money going to support youth and women entrepreneurs.
At some point Obama warmed the crowed when he greeted them in sheng’ language Niaje meaning how are you.. something that left the crowd in tears of laughter.
Meanwhile the Obama is expected to meet the President Uhuru Kenyatta in 45 minutes talk as well as opposition party leaders.
