Bandari coach Twahir Muhiddin has admitted that the coast based side missed its target during the match against their hosts AFC Leopards on Monday evening at Nyayo National Stadium.

According to the veteran coach, the team was target three away points in the match hence their bright start though they wasted a lot of chances thereafter in the end to end game.

“Were we fighting for a draw then we would not have missed the many chances as we did in the match especially in the first half. We were target a win but that’s the nature of football,” he said. The coach denied however that their strategy was not right and that they did not live to the billing saying that they adjusted themselves according to the pace of the match.

Shabana Kenga finally struck for Bandari FC in the 77th minute but their joy was short lived as they were denied two points by a Jackson Saleh strike in the 89th minute. Bandari FC is now sixth, five points behind Leopards.
