shollieReinstated Football Kenya Federation Vice President Sammy Shollei has called on Football stake holders to elect leaders who have football interests at heart in order to help the game progress.

Speaking to Ghetto Radio Sports Sholei said that aspirants have amassed money to bribe voters a situation which will bring into office wrong leaders.

“ I call upon Kenyans to elect a visionary leader to spear head soccer in the Country , there is a lot of money out there to bribe voters but if it is a must you take the money make sure you make the right decision,” he said.

The Sports Disputes Tribunal on 18th August 2015 lifted the suspension of Shollei and Nairobi branch chairman Dan Shikanda who had allegedly taken football matters to court and subsequently banned for six years from all football related activities.

Coast National Executive Committee (NEC) member Hussein Terry was banned from all football related activities for life although the matter will be a subject of review during FKF’s AGM slated for Friday 28 August.

The AGM also will chart the way forward for the election which is expected to take place before the end of the year.
