Jamaican Olympic champion Usain Bolt and American Justin Gatlin renew their rivalry as the two champions take center stage in a riveting showdown in the men’s 200m finals scheduled for today afternoon at the World Championships in Beijing.
Gatlin clocked the fastest time in the semi-finals in 19.87 seconds way ahead of Bolt who clocked 19.95 as both of them secured comfortable spots in today’s finals.
However all eyes will be on Gatlin who is a two-time doping offender as the American sprinter is looking forward to avenge his defeat in the last 100m whereby he was beaten by a narrow margin of 0.01 second by Bolt.
Bolt (29) will be chasing his fourth successful world 200m title at the iconic Bird’s Nest where he shot to fame 5 years ago.
