Manchester City face an acid test as the English team will face Serie A Champions Juventus in the group stage match. Pellegrini’s expensively-assembled side have never scored more than once in their three meetings with Juventus.
Manchester United cruised through the play-offs to earning a spot in the Champions League after failing to make it in the competition last year. They will face PSV Eindhoven.
Arsenal will also have an uphill task when they clash with Bundesliga Champions history rivals Bayern Munich who have previously edged them out of the championships twice in the last three campaigns. The Gunners will also face Monaco who knocked them out in the last 16 group stages last season.
English Premier League Champions, Chelsea will have a rather smooth sail along Group G as Mourinho is set to make a return back to his former club FC Porto. The Blues have never failed to score in six previous meetings with Porto.
